The advertisement for Just Cause 4 seems to have been mistakenly released on Steam.
E3, one of the biggest gaming event is almost upon us. The press conferences begin tomorrow, June 9th, with EA kicking off the events. But as has been the tradition (kind of), with E3 around the corner also come leaks and speculations.
Just before the official announcement of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, a leaked image was circulating around the web. Just recently, a Walmart listing leaked various games. The following games were on the listing.
Just Cause 4
Dragon Quest 2 (PS4/XBO)
LEGO DC Villains
Gears of War 5
Forza Horizons 5
While most of them have now been confirmed, there are yet no confirmation for Splinter Cell and Just Cause 4, and Borderlands 3 is a secret in just the technical sense. But now, we do have confirmation for the Steam version of Just Cause 4 at least.
As reported by Kotaku, an advertisement for the Pre-purchase of Just Cause 4 was mistakenly released prematurely.
“Clicking for details doesn’t reveal any additional information or take you to the game’s store page, it just redirects to the Steam store’s front page,” according to Kotaku.
It is possible that Just Cause 4 will be revealed during E3 at Square Enix’s press conference. The Square Enix press conference is scheduled on Monday, 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.
