Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is already here, but with a brand new art style and mobile-friendly controls.
The first chapter of the mobile version of Final Fantasy XV is finally out today. It is available from today for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices, it’s also available on the Amazon App store.
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition contains the full story and all the characters of the original versions, with only difference being a change in art style and controls. So don’t worry, you will not need to bend your fingers into a pretzel shape or something.
What about the Price?
Sadly, only the first part of the 10 chapters will be free. The 2nd and 3rd will be $0.99 and the rest will come with a price tag of $3.99, but they can also be purchased for $19.99 as a bundle. The app can run on iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices, but only if they are powerful enough and the OS allows it.
For Android users, Pocket Edition will only run with at least Android – 5.0 Lollipop. But as usual, not all of the 5.0 devices are supported. You would have to have at least 1.5 GHz of CPU power or higher. You will also need to have at least 2 GB of RAM! Lastly, the game needs at least 5 GB of free space, or 8 GB for the High-Resolution version.
Apple owners will need to have devices which have at least iOS 11.1 installed on their mobile toys. This means iPhone6s or later, iPad Pro, iPad or later, iPad Air2 or later or iPad mini4. They will also need to have at least 8 GB free storage for the High-Resolution one, or 5 GB for storage friendly version.
The Final Fantasy XV is currently only available on Play Station 4 and XBox One. However, the Windows version is coming in a month and it is already up for preorder.
